Final Verdict
This card has got a lot packed into it, from credits to benefits to elevated earnings. It is in my opinion, one of the best cards on the market. It gets you transfer partners which can allow you to get even more value for your points. American Express is also one of the best credit card companies that I've had. The customer service is great and the app and website are very well designed. The apply with confidence tool allows you to not take a hit to your credit unless you get approved and accept the card.

However, one of the biggest drawbacks is the annual fee, sitting at a hefty $250. The upside is that they give you $240 worth of credits that you can realistically use every year, bringing the effective annual fee to just a measly $10. For that, you get a card with a ton of benefits and high earnings as food is one of the highest costs in most people's lives.

Overall, this card is a must have. A high welcome offer and great earnings are the recipe for a great card. However, if you cannot utilize the credits to offset the annual fee, this card will not be as valuable to you. This card is still one of the best out there and if you buy food, you should get this card.
